Sources
Every article lists its sources with the date we accessed them. For anything about licensing or law we cite the primary document — PAGCOR’s published lists and circulars, BSP memoranda, Senate or House bill text — not news coverage of it.
Verification
- Licence status comes from PAGCOR’s published PDF lists. We parse them automatically every week; a person reviews every difference before it is published. The list date is shown on every licence result.
- Payment and withdrawal claims come from our own transactions, made with a real KYC-verified account held by a team member in the Philippines. We record the date, amount, method and timing. Screenshots are kept and published with account details redacted.
- Legal explainers are written from the primary text. Where we have a legal reviewer the page says so under the byline; where we do not, the page is an informational summary and not legal advice.
Updates
Operator profiles are re-tested at least monthly. Legal pages are updated within 48 hours of a new circular, bill action or court decision we are aware of. Every page shows its last-updated date and we never backdate.
Corrections
If we got something wrong, we fix it, note the fix at the bottom of the page, and log it on the corrections page. Email corrections to the address on the contact page.
Commercial independence
See how we make money. Affiliate relationships never influence what we test, what we write, or the order in which things appear. Pages with affiliate links say so at the top.
